As part of the "THIS IS FORWARDISM" event, BMW and AD Germany invited guests to the Philara Collection for an exciting dialogue. The event was accompanied by art, culinary delights and creation - with a view to the future.
Being a pioneer also means critically scrutinising the status quo. The architecture firm Nidus, founded by Annelen Schmidt-Vollenbroich and Ana Vollenbroich, focuses from the its beginning primarily on existing properties, which the duo renovates. In this way, what already exists is developed further. The pair spoke to Oliver Jahn, Deputy Global Editorial Director of AD, about circular architecture and more at the Philara Collection. It was an exciting conversation, moderated by Annabelle Mandeng. "It is the responsibility of architecture to define the structures in which we want to live in the future," Annelen Schmidt-Vollenbroich summarised.
